Well apparently I'm not the best about remembering to take off the lens cap when shooting with my Holga. Here are the few photos that came from the roll of Kodak Tri-X 400. And I'm thinking the 400 was a tad too slow for the Holga's fixed shutter speed.
So bummed these aren't sharp, C'est la vie.

A little gem from Paris...
While Andrea and I were in Paris last summer we went to a flea market. While there I haggled for some old negatives which looked to be from the 40's and 50's. I also picked up some crazy awesome photographs and an old camera as well. Here this past week I sent off a roll of film that I took while in Paris and one of the negatives - to Richard Photo Lab in Hollywood. The photos from that roll of Kodak Tri-X will be here later in the week. But while I wait here is an image that was scanned by the folks at Richard. It is from one of the many negatives that I bought.

Favorite Canon G12 Photos of 2012
A couple years ago I bought the newly released Canon G12 so I'd have a backup camera, and something compact to easily take on trips. While most would take it for a "point and shoot", it does have many manual functions, plus the vital ability to shoot in the RAW format. I have been extremely impressed with it. And she has provided me with some incredible photos from California to Colorado to Barcelona to Rome to Paris. Here are my favorite G12 images from 2012.

Top 10 images from 2012
2012 came to a close a week ago, and what an adventurous year it was! Highlights were: a week long trip to Paris, a road trip to Illinoise (Sufjan Stevens reference), shooting a wedding in Tennessee where I was assisted by my beautiful wife, and kinda sorta wrapping up the year with an incredible road trip throughout California. While 2012 was slower for me in the business sense, life was at moving at quite the clip. All in all I shot fewer sessions and weddings, but I do love the thousands of images that I was still able to create. It was hard picking my Top 10 favorites, but here you have 'em.
Also, a quick shout out to Visual Supply CO. for their rad VSCO Film software. Thank you!
