The other day my longtime friend Shun-Luoiand I got together to have a photography jam session. We experimented with studio lighting, a softbox that is taller than me, and other light-modifiers. This is the image that I captured at the very end of that time. Profoto studio flash firing through a pegboard behind Shun-Luoi, another Profoto flash to his left (up high) with a posterboard light modifier to help keep the front light from falling on the pegboard. Then I used a shutter speed that was too fast for the flashes (1/400) in order to get the darkening on the right side of the image.
I'm a photographer based out of Colorado Springs Colorado. Day in and day out I am awed by the beauty around me. I have traveled around the world photographing people, places and astonishing sights.
