New camera, new chapter...
A week ago I received my Canon G12 in the mail! I'd wanted a "point and shoot" so I could have a camera with me more often without the stress of carrying around $2500+ of a DSLR & lens combo. This G12 so far seems to be an incredible camera. It is packed with features and I hope to even start dabbling in video because of it. Here are a few of the first images I've taken with it. It has a "miniaturize" scene mode which is pretty fun to play with, and it kinda-sorta mimics a tilt shift lens.

Introducing Chris and Amy...
My long time friends Chris and Amy got married on Feb 4th. They were also the very first couple that I did engagement photos for! It was an honor and privilege to photograph their big day.

Scoggins wedding!
The final image from my friends Chris and Amy's wedding, held tonight at The Pinery in Black Forest. What a fun and laughter filled evening. Oh and the food was so awesome...
I'm very grateful to have had Madi Conrad along as my assistant, as well as surprise guest assistant Elyse.
