Forgotten edits but not forgotten memories...

I have this bad habit of forgetting to edit my own personal projects or personal trips (which kills my wife). Here is one such example of that bad habit. These are some photos from an artists' retreat that I went on in the summer of 2015. A ragtag bunch set out from Colorado Springs and spent a weekend camping and adventuring near Independence Pass/Aspen. We were a group comprised of photographers, poets, writers and mixed media artists. It was a wonderful weekend full of campfires and deep conversations.

That weekend was a taste of the sense of community that I long for on a daily basis.

Best of 2015...

What the heck?! It's almost April of 2016 and I've not slowed down enough to process how incredible 2015 was. Our year started with a trip of a lifetime to Egypt, Jordan and Israel and wrapped up with an epic adventure in The Tetons & Yellowstone, then finally a second trip to California. 2015 had fewer "jobs" than in years past, but the photos I did take were the most important to date.

This is bound to be a two part best of. Enjoy and thank you for following my work!
