Best of 2018...

What a beautiful, busy and incredible year 2018 was! I just realized that I didn't even post here in 2018. I was going to post my top ten photos of the year, but I just can't narrow it down that far. So here are some of my favorites for the year. These are all iPhone photos edited with VSCO, I might just have to dig up my DSLR images and post my favorites from those too.

The top two happenings for 2018: I turned 40 and we adopted!
No joke - #blessed

Thanks for being a part of my photographic journey! 2019 marks 10 years from when I started my photography business. My camera has been with me all over the world, and documented some of your most important of days. #dadlife is definitely busy but in 2019 I'm really hoping to pick up my camera(s) and make some beautiful art.

It's the little things...

Aside from photography the other thing I absolutely love to do is bicycle.  It is incredibly freeing and exhilarating.  When I get out on one of my bikes I can leave my stress behind as I fly through the woods or pedal along a road that seems never ending.  The combination of simplicity and the marvel of a bicycle are a beautiful thing.

This old-school bike isn't mine.  Just saw it while I was out and about one day.

Photos were processed with VSCO Film.  I'm still waiting for the Canon 50D update, but I' making it work for me in the mean time.

ColoRADo summer!

This summer has been amazing.  I've spent so much time outdoors this summer, and have gone camping almost every other weekend with my beautiful wife Andrea.  Here's a snapshot of what the past few of weeks have held.

Biking down Pikes Peak (from tree-line @ 12,000 ft):

Leadville Trail 100 MTB Race:

After a night of camping we hiked Mt. Elbert.
